Bay Ridge Hardscapes started in 2012 with one truck and a simple frustration: too many patios and walls around Little Traverse Bay were failing within a few winters because they'd been built to a spec from somewhere else — somewhere that doesn't get a hundred-plus freeze-thaw cycles a year.

We build differently. Every base depth, every drainage detail, every material choice on this site is specified for our climate, not a national average. That's not marketing — it's the reason we get called out to rebuild other contractors' failed patios and walls more often than we'd like.

Fourteen years and a few hundred projects later, we're still a local, owner-operated crew. When you call, you're talking to someone who was probably on-site last week, not a call center. We're licensed, insured, and we stand behind every project with a 5-year workmanship warranty.

We live here too — on the same lakeshore, through the same winters. We're not going anywhere, and neither is the work we build.
